WOO UPDATE

Hi, so, stuff.. happened.

Like Sunday, cause nothing happened before that. Sunday I went to Jeff City and Got to be one of the first people to Steve back here. I was with his family, They came in in formation, I wanted to just run out there and tackle him and hug him. I felt like maybe, he wasn't really there, and I was dreaming and I was going to wake up and be back in November just after he left again. I was so happy, I had never been so anxious to have a ceremony get over. They finally let them out and His little brother got to him first and just tackled him, then I got to him, I hugged him and I didn't want to let him go, but I did. Family hugs, back out to the outside. We went to Arris' for pizza and then back to his Grandparents house, we all hung out there and he unloaded his stuff, he gave me a replacement Iraqi teddy for the one that got stolen. And My christmas present that I was absolutely giddy over, It's this red and black Leather Trench coat, IT'S GORGEOUS. I <3 steve. I feel so terrible when he buys me so much stuff. Ah well. We went and showed his armor to his Uncle Mike, and then watched some of Blue Collar Comedy Tour, we were just lying there, it was nice. I had to go home though, I had to get up early today and go to school for my Super field trip to the Science Center.
So I went to the Science center, watched "Pulse:a STOMP odyssey" which was really cool. It was this docu-music film. There were no words, it was STOMP playing and then a whole bunch of different Cultural rythm music, for instance, the african dancers who do traditional dances with shells and things to make the beat with stomping or the Miners who do their own beats in Africa to take their mind off it, or the Native Americans who do it religiously, and the Indians who do it too. Or the New age people like STOMP who do it on the street with just about anything, or the Brooklyn drummers from that competition thing that got a movie made about it (drumline). But it was awesome in the Omnimax theatre, beautiful. They had Japanese Kodo, and all sorts of things, and this guy from STOMP I would geuss was wandering around watching all of it. AW it was AWesome. Have a link.
So then we leave the Science Center and get on the bus, on schedule, and we get maybe fifteen miles down the road and what should happen, Bus gets hit by this white Taxi. GAYTARDED. ok, so no one got hurt, I was listening to my CD player, and over the music I hear this terrible crunch and the bus shakes a little, I know that noise, that is definetly a sound that people go "HOW DO YOU MISS A BUS?!" over. I can sympathize, so the window broke in on the Drivers fare, oops, geuss no tip on that one. She also wasn't wearing her seat belt and got thrown to the other side of the cab which I think must have saved her from getting cut. So the cops are called and we sit and wait for AN HOUR before they get there, then less than a mile behind us, I mean, we watched it happen, another car wreck, one evidently involving a child happens, the cops show up instantly for that along with a Childrens Hospital ambulance. So we finally get out of there, a little electric side door from the side of the bus broke off and got stuck in the side of the cab so they had to pull that out. Other wise kind of un eventful. ^.^ So I think maybe fate has it out for me with this whole speeding metal box of doom thing that happens whenever I'm in a car. I was even thinking about it before the cab hit us, most of the bus trip actually, I was thinking, "oh here it comes, My luck, big city, we're going to get hit and add one to my record, No dawn that's silly, you don't have that bad of luck." BAM. I give up, STeve you better be ready to drive me -everywhere- if another accident happens. Nah, I'm just kidding, I'd never give up the freedom of being able to go where I want to.
