SO my father showed up last night, quite irritatingly in the middle of a brilliant idea I had for an English paper. but I sat and talked to him for a bit, and I pitched this idea in the form of a joke and then started talking about it seriously. We figured out that my grades dropped alot more severely when I got a job (we being Jay and I in Honors Bio.) and we knew that I'm easily distracted, but I'm more focused and can get things done when I'm at work. Which we knew is becuase they were paying me, so we decided that the ultimate way, to make the job being in the way/more focused at work thing play together was to have someone pay me to acedemically responsible. becuase I have to have a job to do the leisure things that I want to and I am more focused when getting paid, so if you paid me to do my homework, then hell yes I'd do it all. I told it to dad in the form of a "Oh man, jay and I were talking about.." like we had been joking, and then started to talk about it seriously, and in the end he said he would have to see where he fell moneywise when he got through with all his overtime. Which will probably still end up being a no thing, but oh well. It was fun to think it could happen.
