You know why most bank robbers get caught? They talk about doing the deed. I geuss people remember that sort of conversation. I don't mind, you can remember this if you'd like. It's justified in my little head.
So Today is this retarded thing called "Career Day" which means i have to go around the first half of the day watching retarded showings that I've seen two years in a row already. So the group enmasse decided that today was not the day to go to the first half of school. Jay, Laurel, Matt, and Holly Campbell (not a regular to our group but a fun extension.)all told their parents and got permission to not go, because their parents aren't psychotic. I'm not so lucky and didn't even have to ask my father to already know the answer, though I did bring it up in conversation with a compliant about the stupid school system and was met with the same response I would have recieved had I asked. So I resorted to plan A 1/2. It would be B, except that I knew plan A wouldn't work so I had this one as my first plan with asking as a prerequisit. So Today I will be dropping my brother off at school, picking up Holly from Dance practice and handing into my school office a bogus "Please excuse Dawn for a Doctor's appointment" note. I figure if they pry I'll seal the conversation door with the "one of -those-" doctor's appointments thing. I've never had a Papsmear but evidently it's not something they like to talk about. then I go and meet the gang at Taco Hell and we will galavant off to Columbia. Everyone except Jay and Matt are going back for the second part of the day. I probably would have copped out except that last night I was talking on the phone, I had not been told anything, no knowledge of anything going on in the house, and no one ever uses the phone except me. So When dad walks in and starts berating me for being on the phone for and hour ( it wasn't really, I was bouncing messages between people becuase Laurel and JAy find it completely against their nature to call anyone.) because he is expecting a phone call my response is "ok.." but that doesn't stop him, he continues to dog on me and then says his piece and starts to leave and I'm so angry beucase I forgot my number one rule of surviving the crazy dad and have to open my fat mouth and say "But I didn't know, you never told.." he interrupted me, What an ass, I can't even finish my sentence. You know what his response was to it? "it shouldn't matter." Like I'm supposed to know his and his friends every move. What an ASS.
