So I went to shoot my competition today. It's a mail in competition. But I've been shooting two days ina row and both of the targets were just terrible. I hit for fifteen points on the first target and twenty five on the second. I'm sitting here thinking I must be losing it. The targets are worth 300 if you do everything perfectly. Then, two shots from finishing my second target dad goes and tells me that he thinks that the scope is off on mine, to take my shot, tell him what happens, then to pull the last shot accoringly, and we aren't telling me this before I got two thirds of the way through the competition WHY? So yes, the scope was off, High and to the left. He fixed the high and I pulled for the left. And what happens? The gun goes haywire. The shot was right for being lined up, my pull left was good. But for some god awful reason the goddamn bullet shows up three inches lower than the spot I was aiming! Dad tells me something must be wrong with the scope or something, he doesn't know. So we are going to try and fix it but there is nothing I can do about the rest of this competition. That's a bum set.
In other news, Denny's tried to screw me again. I put in my two weeks and they decided to only have me work one, but more interesting than that, they just didn't bother to tell me. SoI just didn't bother to go into work today. It was my last day, I was just so irritated I didn't even want to bother with their bullshit. That may make my life more difficult when I go to get my last paychecks but I don't mind so much.
And tomorrow I'm going to go have dinner and a movie with mom, I really am not looking foreward to it. But I'm going to make her see Brokeback Mountain, and such. Anyway.
